Its short 25mm design is ideal for installations where a conventional long shank is unnecessary. Manufactured from stainless steel, it provides a durable and hygienic connection suitable for beer, cider, premixed drinks, cold water and sparkling water dispensing systems.
Please note: This product includes the stainless steel shank only. The mounting nut, collar, barbed tail and push-in fittings are sold separately.

What Is This Short Shank Used For?
This short shank connects a beer tap to a compatible plumbed font or dispensing unit. It is designed for installations where the beverage line is connected using a separately purchased threaded fitting rather than a permanently attached barbed tail.
Will It Fit a Standard Beer Font?
It is suitable for compatible plumbed fonts and dispensing units with a 5/8-inch female connection requiring a 25mm-long shank.
Always check the available mounting depth and connection type before ordering. Some fonts require a shorter or differently configured shank.
Is a Barbed Tail Included?
No. This product is supplied without a barbed tail, mounting nut or collar. This allows you to select the connection that best suits your beverage line and dispensing system.
Is It Compatible with Duotight Fittings?
A compatible female-threaded Duotight fitting can be connected to the rear thread, but the fitting must be purchased separately. Check the fitting size and beverage-line diameter before assembly.
Can It Be Used with Nukatap Flow-Control Taps?
Yes. The shank can be used with compatible Nukatap taps, including suitable standard and flow-control models. The tap is not included.
How Do I Install It?
Pass the shank through the appropriate opening in the font or dispensing unit and secure it with a compatible mounting nut. Connect the selected rear fitting and beverage line, then attach the beer tap to the front of the shank.
Tighten the connections securely without overtightening. Pressure-test the system and check carefully for leaks before use.
