British Style Ale Yeast
A true English strain that produces a balanced fruity aroma and imparts a slight fresh yeasty flavour. Beers created with Windsor are usually described as full-bodied, fruity English ales. Brewers choose Windsor to produce beers that range from Pale Ale to Porter with moderate alcohol levels and the flavour and aroma characteristics of the best traditional ales.
The yeasts optimal fermentation temperature is around 20°C but has a range between 15c and 22c. This Yeast will produce nice fruity and estery flavour and aroma, typical of traditional English style ales.
Lallemand Windsor is suitable for brewing almost and English style ale and exhibits Low flocculation and medium attenuation.
Pitch rates are 11g per 23L if wort.
