Lactose
Milk Sugar
Lactose is a non-fermentable sugar that brewers use to add sweetness and body to beer, particularly in styles like sweet stouts and milkshake IPAs. It's added during the brewing process, often in the last few minutes of the boil or during fermentation, and contributes a creamy mouthfeel and a subtle sweetness.
Back sweeten Dry / Bitter wine, cider etc with lactose.
Add a small amount, mix, & taste, add more until desired flavour is obtained.
