
Lactose Milk Sugar
Lactose is a non-fermentable sugar that brewers use to add sweetness, creaminess and body to beer, particularly in styles like sweet stouts and milkshake IPAs.
Brewers typically use between 250-500g of lactose per 19-23 Litres of beer, depending on the desired level of sweetness.
Back sweeten Dry / Bitter wine, cider etc with lactose.
Add a small amount, mix, & taste, add more until desired flavour is obtained.
