Compact and Portable 4L Ball Lock Keg
The 4L Oxebar PET Mini Keg is a lightweight and reusable ball lock keg for storing, carbonating and dispensing smaller quantities of beer and other beverages.
Its compact size makes it ideal for taking home brew to parties, barbecues, camping trips, the beach or home brew club events. It can also fit inside many standard refrigerators and portable coolers where a stainless steel Cornelius keg would be too large.
This complete keg includes a tapping head with standard ball lock gas and liquid posts, a pressure relief valve, dip tube and beverage filter.

How to Use
Clean and sanitise the keg, tapping head, dip tube and filter before use.
Fill the keg with your finished beverage while leaving suitable headspace. Fit the tapping head securely, connect a regulated CO₂ supply to the gas post and check every connection for leaks.
Purge the headspace to reduce oxygen exposure before carbonating the beverage at the appropriate pressure and temperature.
Connect a suitable beverage line or portable tap to the liquid post when you are ready to dispense.
Does This Keg Include the Ball Lock Tapping Head?
Yes. This product includes the tapping head with gas and liquid ball lock posts, pressure relief valve, dip tube and filter.
The ball lock disconnects and dispensing equipment are sold separately.
Will Standard Ball Lock Disconnects Fit?
Yes. The tapping head uses standard ball lock posts.
A grey disconnect is normally used on the gas post, while a black disconnect is normally used on the liquid post.

How Long Can Beer Be Stored in the Keg?
Oxebar Mono PET provides improved protection against oxygen ingress and CO₂ loss compared with standard PET.
The manufacturer recommends it for storing beer for up to approximately six months when the keg is correctly filled, sealed and stored under suitable conditions.
Will the Keg Fit in a Refrigerator?
The keg measures approximately 155mm in diameter and 325mm high, or around 354mm high with the tapping head fitted.
Its compact size allows it to fit inside many household refrigerators and portable coolers. Measure the available space and allow clearance for the disconnects and beverage lines.
Can the Keg Be Filled with Hot Liquid?
No. The keg must not be exposed to temperatures above 45°C.
Allow any beverage and cleaning solution to cool below the rated temperature before it contacts the keg.
How Should I Clean the Keg?
Rinse the keg promptly after use and clean it with a PET-safe brewing cleaner at the recommended concentration and temperature.
Rinse thoroughly and sanitise before refilling. Avoid abrasive brushes or harsh chemicals that could scratch or damage the PET surface.
Inspect the keg, threads and tapping head before every use. Do not use the keg if it shows cracks, deep scratches, deformation or other damage.
