Still Spirits Liqueur Base C is specially formulated for use with selected Still Spirits liqueur flavourings. It provides the sugar, body and texture, while your chosen flavouring creates the finished liqueur’s distinctive taste and aroma.
Each 320g packet makes approximately 1.125 litres of finished liqueur when combined with a compatible flavouring, neutral spirit or vodka and water.

What Does Liqueur Base C Do?
Still Spirits Liqueur Base C provides the sweetness, thickness and texture needed to turn neutral spirit and flavouring into a finished liqueur.
The base does not supply the main liqueur flavour. It works with a compatible Still Spirits flavouring to create the rich sweetness and full-bodied texture associated with dessert-style and commercial liqueurs.

Liqueur flavouring, neutral spirit or vodka and mixing equipment are sold separately.
How to Use
Add the quantity of neutral spirit or vodka specified on your chosen liqueur flavouring bottle to a large mixing jug.
Slowly add the entire packet of Liqueur Base C while stirring continuously with a whisk. Add the compatible liqueur flavouring, then top up with water to a total volume of 1.125 litres.
Mix thoroughly until the base is completely dissolved.
Always follow the directions printed on the individual flavouring bottle, as the required amount of neutral spirit varies between liqueur styles.
How Much Liqueur Does One Packet Make?
One 320g packet makes approximately 1.125 litres of finished liqueur when prepared according to the directions.
Does Liqueur Base C Contain Flavouring?
No. Liqueur Base C provides sweetness, body and texture but does not supply the main liqueur flavour.
You will also need a compatible Still Spirits liqueur flavouring and the required quantity of neutral spirit or vodka.

Always check the directions on the individual flavouring bottle before selecting a base. Other liqueur flavourings may require Liqueur Base A, Liqueur Base B, Schnapps Base or Cream Liqueur Base.
What Is the Difference Between Base A, Base B and Base C?
The three bases contain similar ingredients but use different quantities to create different levels of sweetness and body.
Base A produces the least sweet result, Base B creates a sweeter liqueur, and Base C produces the sweetest and richest liqueur of the three.
Because Base C contains more base and the finished volume remains the same, it can also produce a lower final alcohol percentage than Base A or Base B.
Can I Use Ordinary Sugar Instead?
Ordinary sugar will add sweetness, but it may not produce the same smoothness, thickness or mouthfeel as a purpose-made liqueur base.
Still Spirits Liqueur Base C contains maltodextrin and a thickening ingredient to help create a rich, rounded and consistent liqueur-style texture.
Does Liqueur Base C Contain Alcohol?
No. Liqueur Base C is a powdered mixing base and does not contain alcohol.
Neutral spirit or vodka must be added separately according to the directions on your chosen flavouring bottle.
Can the Finished Liqueur Be Drunk Immediately?
Yes. Most liqueurs can be enjoyed after mixing, although allowing the finished drink to rest for several hours gives the sweetness, flavouring and alcohol time to combine.
Mix or shake the liqueur again before serving if necessary.
