Also known as a Corny keg or Cornelius-style keg, this popular size is ideal for standard home brew batches and fits most multi-keg kegerators. It features separate ball lock gas and liquid posts, a removable lid and an integrated pressure relief valve.
The passivated stainless steel body has smooth robotic orbital welds for easier cleaning, while the black rubber handle and base make the keg easier to carry and help protect floors and the inside of your kegerator.

Why Use a Ball Lock Keg?
Ball lock kegs provide a convenient alternative to bottling an entire batch of beer.
Once your beverage has finished fermenting, it can be transferred into the keg, purged with CO₂, carbonated and connected directly to a kegerator or portable dispensing system.

How to Use
Clean and sanitise the keg before its first use.
Transfer your finished beverage into the keg, secure the lid and connect a regulated CO₂ supply to the gas-in post. Purge the headspace to remove oxygen before carbonating the beverage at the appropriate pressure and temperature.
Connect your beverage line to the liquid-out post when you are ready to dispense.
Always use a suitable CO₂ regulator and check all connections for leaks before placing the keg into service.
Is This Keg New or Refurbished?
This is a brand-new stainless steel keg, not a refurbished or second-hand soft drink keg.
A new keg provides clean internal surfaces, new seals and no unknown history from previous use.
Will This Keg Fit My Kegerator?
This keg measures approximately 214mm in diameter and 629mm high.
It fits most kegerators designed for standard 19L Cornelius-style kegs. Measure the internal height and width of your kegerator before ordering, particularly if you are fitting several kegs inside one cabinet.
Remember to allow additional clearance for the ball lock disconnects and beverage lines above the keg.
What Connections Does It Use?
The keg uses standard ball lock connections with separate posts for gas and liquid.
A grey ball lock disconnect is commonly used for the gas connection, while a black ball lock disconnect is commonly used for the beverage connection.
Does It Include Ball Lock Disconnects?
No. The keg includes its gas and liquid posts, but the matching ball lock disconnects, lines and fittings are sold separately.
Can I Carbonate Beer in This Keg?
Yes. The keg can be used to naturally condition or force carbonate home-brewed beer.
For force carbonation, connect a regulated CO₂ supply to the gas post and carbonate according to the temperature, pressure and carbonation level required for your beverage.
Can It Be Used for Drinks Other Than Beer?
Yes. This keg can also be used for cider, ginger beer, premixed beverages, cold brew coffee, soft drinks and carbonated water, provided suitable cleaning, sanitation and dispensing equipment are used.
How Should I Clean the Keg?
Rinse the keg promptly after use, then clean it with a stainless-steel-safe brewing cleaner such as StellarClean or sodium percarbonate. Rinse thoroughly and sanitise before filling.
Remove and inspect the lid seal, posts, poppets and dip tubes periodically for a complete clean.
Do not use bleach or chlorinated cleaning products on stainless steel because they can cause pitting, corrosion and discolouration.
