How Many Cartridges Will I Need?
CO2 consumption depends on the beverage temperature, carbonation level, serving pressure, keg size and whether the cartridge is being used for carbonation, dispensing or both.
Cold, pre-carbonated beer requires considerably less gas for dispensing than warm or uncarbonated beer. Carrying a spare cartridge is recommended when using a portable keg away from home.
