Dark dry malt extract is an extract of malted barley that has been roasted. Dark Malt extract adds more body, flavour, and rich dark malt character, head retention and mouthfeel to your beer.

It is also suitable for use in yeast starters with the addition of a little yeast nutrient to give your brew the best possible start.
