Magnesium Sulphate

Food Grade Epsom Salt 250g

Magnesium sulphate, commonly known as Epsom salt, is a brewing salt used to adjust the ion content of brewing water, impacting the mash and wort pH, and ultimately influencing beer flavour and bitterness.

It lowers pH slightly and can enhance hop bitterness by adding a "crispness" to the flavour.
